Ohmygoodness, I totally forgot to write in my blog...actually I didn't forget...I just haven't had the time. But now, I do because...WHOOOOO FINALS ARE FINAL-LY OVER! And thank goodness to that. I have been so stressed for the past week I think I aged like 2 years. ahaha. Sooo anyway, I'll be posting more stuffers soon!
So I thought I'd start this new weekly post where I share with you the song that has been on my constant replay list this week. You may and may not already know these songs and maybe it's on your constant replay list too, who knows. Sooooo just enjoy the music! :)
With Kissmes still iffy about the swap of members, NH Media really needed to take precautions on all and everything about the new U-Kiss. Nobody will ever replace Xander and Kibum, but I'm sure the company did what they thought was best for the group. Some Kissmes have grown to like AJ and Hoon, but there are many others who still long for Xander and Kibum's presence in U-Kiss. As of "Neverland" so far, it is doing quite well, already with more views than their first track with the new members, "0330".
The song is very catchy and has strong choreography, quite different than the "0330". According to mtvk.com,
"To boost its house fusion elements, “Neverland” makes use of a technique called Sound Design, where the vocals are treated individually to bring out each member’s unique charms, as an alternative to autotune. The track was produced by Ryan Jhun and his team at Marcan Entertainment, who also did Lee Hyori‘s “ChittyChitty Bang Bang,” Super Junior‘s “No Other,” and SHINee‘s “Lucifer,” just to name a few." (http://mtvk.com/2011/08/31/u-kiss-welcomes-you-to-neverland/)
I just thought that bit of information was quite interesting. It's really cool because if you listened to all of them, you can sort of find the similarities in all of those songs. Haha check them out if you want! Well this is all for this week. Thanks for reading! :)
If you know me personally, the you probably know that I am a big fan of puns. A BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG fan. I will try to make a pun out of anything I see XD. They amuse me more than TV does. Some people say puns are the worst form of humor, but I beg to differ. Below are 10 pun pictures that I thought were clever and worth a knee slap.
However, I showed these 10 pun-pics to my rather logical, serious friend hoping that at least one of these would make her laugh, but no pun in ten did. ;D Enjoy!
Hate to break it to you, Odysseus, but your epic journey isn't as epic as a regular Homer Simpson day.
Well, that was a well thought out pun.
Ya givin' me an attitude, yo? Well you know what man, I ain't gonna take it. I gonna poke your fa-ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAP
Oh dear...Vietnam may have to compete with Hungary for food.
Yeah, what up with that, man? One tent is plenty. No need for two.
Gnomes sure do get to places 'in time'.
Don't 'faceplant' when you see this pun!
'ironic' no?
Well, at least one of 'ems got a sense of direction.
Ohohohoho that's edgy. Err...if it did have edges, that is.
Wellllll? Is your knee red for all the puns worth knee-slapping? Did you lol? Or even a small chuckle? C'mon I know you did at some point x) Well, thanks for reading and look forward to the next punderful post! :D
Super Junior's comeback will indeed "blow your mind" :)
Super Junior has finally returned to home base on MBC’s Music Core to promote their fifth official album.
They have once again rocked the stage and wooed their fans with a powerful choreography.
Their lead track is titled “Mr. Simple“, but their unique performance sure isnt! Check out their comeback performances on Music Core below. :)
"Mr. Simple" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGk_Zkki2fk&feature=player_embedded
The lyrics for “Mr. Simple” expresses a society’s loss of motivation and dreams due to their overly-complicated lifestyles. Their little hand flick move is catchy XD
(lol for a second there, I thought Donghae was Kangin and I got all excited, but it wasn't. :( Kangin and Kibum please come back soon. We miss you~)
"Super Man" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GhxA2pQPOw&feature=player_embedded
When I first saw the title, I thought it would be something like Super Junior M's "Super Girl" but it most definitely wasn't. They start out with rapping which was something different from their previous tracks. Oh and Siwon isn't in this performance. Have you guys noticed that he's rarely in these kind of performances? Well I guess Siwon's just a busy man. :)
One of my favorite idol groups is 2PM. I really like their music, performances, and especially their appearances on variety shows because they make it so entertaining to watch. Go check out some of 2PM's variety shows if you have the chance! Here's a fun picture I edited. Enjoy ^^
Here are some (not ALL because if I were to list all of their appearances, it would take...forever....) 2PM Variety Shows:
- 2PMWild Bunny: Once you start watching, you won't be able to stop. They basically do random and un-idol like stuff. It had me ROFLing in no time. XD The episodes are subbed on Youtube, so go check it out!
- Star Golden Bell: They appear in various episodes as guests
- Star King: One of my favorites. Star King is a variety show that brings people from all over the world who have amazing talents and then they have popular idols interacting in the activities. :) 2PM and many other popular groups make various appearances on this show and if you haven't seen Nichkhun on this show, then you've been missing a LOT. Go check it out~
- 2PM Idol Army Show
- We Got Married: Nichkhun and his pretend wife Victoria from f(x) go on dates and more. It's a cute show :)
- Family Outing: Sadly, this variety show has been cancelled for a while now, but it was great while it lasted. Taecyeon is a regular MC on this show in Season 2. They basically go to different places, receive missions, cook meals, and act as a family, hence the name "Family Outing". Also every week they have a popular idol(s) come on the show and spend the day with them. Ever wanted to see the hidden side of your favorite idol? Well then this show is for you :) check out both Season 1 and Season 2!
If you want to check out these variety shows, you can probably find most of them on this awesome site:
Hello! The post below is actually on my other blog http://www.clairethemusician.wordpress.com/ but I just thought I would put it on this blog because I thought you guys would like it. :) Below are scenes from the popular drama Dream High. I took certain frames and edited, added little quirks, and created subtitles of my own just out of my own amusement. Haha enjoy ^^
~~~
SamDong freaks out over a misunderstanding that JinGuk talked bad about his one and only love, HyeMi.
SamDong and JinGuk discuss HyeMi.
JinGukkie gets jealous…ohhmy…
SamDong rubs it in. kekeke.
JinGuk tells him that HyeMi always cries in front of him.
Aaaand there it is. Reverse psychology.
SamDong wants to make sure JinGuk won't have feelings for HyeMi.
lol look at his face (:
Ohhhh and here it is. The famous BROMANCE scene. ^^
He spies the underwear.
He locates the underwear thief.
He confronts the thief.
SamDong holds onto his pants for dear life.
Beast JinGuk proceeds with the mission. Poor SamDong.
Teacher Kang comes in with bad news and finds…
…this. Possibly the most awkward pose you could ever be found in.
SamDong hears the bad news about his mom.
Again…Biggest. Eyes. Evarrrr.
~~~
Aaand…this concludes Part 1 for funny Dream High scenes. I really hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed making them. Ohh and there are more of these coming soon^^. Leave me comments or suggestions if there are scenes from dramas, variety shows, movies, etc. that you would like to see edited by me. XD Thank you~!
This is a cover that I made for fun without any fancy equipment; just an ipod touch and windows movie maker. Enjoy!
Lyrics:
Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I’ll be there
Anytime you whisper my name, you’ll see
How every single promise I keep
‘Cause what kind of girl would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most
What are words
If you really don’t mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they’re only for good times
Then they don’t
When it’s love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we’re gone
And I know an angel was sent just for me
And I know I’m meant to be where I am
And I’m gonna be
Standing right beside him tonight
And I’m gonna be by your side
I would never leave when he needs me most
What are words
If you really don’t mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they’re only for good times
Then they don’t
When it’s love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we’re gone
Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I’ll be there
And I’m gonna be here forever more
Every single promise I keep
‘Cause what kind of girl would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most
As I introduced in an earlier post, Boyfriend is a recently debuted boyband under Starship Entertainment. Below are a few videos that you might want to check out. (:
"Boyfriend" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd5GGvWWnzU&feature=player_embedded
They debuted with a cute image of guys who are trying to make a girl their girlfriend. In the end, they're all to shy to go to the door except for MinWoo and that's completely fine, except the featured SISTAR member, Bora, looks...a lot older than MinWoo....and isn't it awkward to accept a BF/GF proposal present from one guy as an entire group of guys is standing right behind him? Those are just my thoughts. But other than that, it's an MV that will make you smile (:
Those of you who have been following the latest k-pop news, you probably know that a new six-member boyband under the company StarShip Entertainment (well known for their other idols like Sistar and K-Will) called Boyfriend has debuted. I think they're going toward the right idea and I'm surprised no other company has ever thought of debuting a boyband under the name Boyfriend. Because isn't that what fangirls want? We don't woo over them because we want to be their friend, we want them to be our BOYFRIEND. Well okay, so we all know our fantasies are a little far-fetched, but in addition to admiring their dancing and singing, that's what all fangirls do right? I'm guessing their fan group will be called Girlfriend and that's definitely going to be a big hit. Their debut song which is oh so conveniently also called "Boyfriend", has a really cute and innocent image. And their white suits are just screaming "cute and innocent". When you watch their performance or their MV for this song, you really can't help but smile throughout the entire thing (well, that's if you're a girl xD). I have a feeling that Boyfriend will be the next big hit like SHINee, Super Junior, Big Bang, 2PM, B2ST, DBSK, SS501,and so on. Their concet is great, fresh, and just what fangirls are looking for ^^. You know, I'm actually glad they made this group because there is finally a Korean boyband that is somewhere near my age. But...
Dear Korean music industry,
This is as young as your idols are allowed to be, okay? If you make your idols any younger, you'll make all the fangirls in the world out there feel like pedo noonas. Thank you very much (:
And now, for the Boyfriend members. Unlike other groups, there is something unique about this one. There are twins! The two cuties Youngmin and Kwangmin are identical twins. In addition to being members of this group, they have been stars since they were young. As child actors, they have been in numerous variety shows and over 300 CFs!Woww...that's a lot of CFs. If it weren't for their extremely different hairstyles (which I'm sure the company did on purpose- one blond one black, I seriously would not be able to tell who is who.) Okay...on with the profiles.

Heyheyheyy wassup everyone! Looking back on this blog, I haven't written in it for a looooooooooong time. Oh yeah...and my covers suck ass..ets. XD haha but don't worry, I'm working on improving it. A lot. Well anyway, it's SUMMERRRRR WOOHOO and I've got to say, I'm not really making great use of my time. All I've accomplished in schoolwork so far is the Pre-calc summer homework. Woww I actually finished all of it XD. I'm not taking summer school this summer- just studying on my own. Ehh I really should be trying harder...and I WILL. Buttt so far....I've actually been watching a lot of dramas. Yupp. Guilty as charged. Korean dramas and Taiwanese dramas- you name it. I've also caught up on some of the good movies I missed during the school year. And below I shall list them all (well ALL the dramas I've seen. Some I watched during the school year, so NO I'm not crazyaddicted to dramas. okay okay, maybe a tad bit ;D)
K-Dramas:
Oh, My Lady
Dream High
Secret Garden
Cinderella's Sister
You're Beautiful
Boys Over Flowers
Playful Kiss
My Girl
I Am Sam
Taiwanese Dramas:
Autumn's Concerto
Single Princesses and Blind Dates
Whoooo that's a lotta dramas XD and a lot of hours....and a lot of just skipping around...THANKYOU dramabeans (: I love you. You know, sometimes all you gotta do is watch the first and last episode of a drama and get the rest of the story from dramabeans.com. Yup that's how good their recaps are. I've "watched" dramas without really watching them. For example, My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox and IRIS were both dramas that I read through. Soooo later when I have time, I'll review each and every one of the dramas I've watched. That's how dedicated I am (: .....Oh who am I kidding...I'm a loser with no life. XD ahaha just kidding. You know, I've actually learned a LOT from these dramas. A few korean phrases, how to deal with douchebags who mess with your life, how to mess with other people's lives ;)..., how to get the one you love, and other really important life lessons. OH and my Chinese skills also improved a LOT. Totally not kidding. It's a great way to improve your verbal skills! So dramas aren't necessarily a bad thing. The picture below summarizes everything.
Soo...moving on to movies. ahaha see what I did there? you know..."moving" on to "movies"? ahahahahaa.....no? oh okay ._. Well anyway, here's the list.
Nineteen (Korean)
Kung Fu Panda 2
Despicable Me
Tangled
Oookay I just realized that's actually not a lot. Considering they're only about an hour each. After watching dramas for......5 or 6 consecutive hours, a movie is like...a cartoon. But I loved every single one of those movies that I watched. I actually originally watched Nineteen just because of T.O.P. a member of "Big Bang", an extremely popular K-pop group. of He is one of the hottest and most talented idols I have ever seen. He can act, he can rap, he can sing, dayummm this guy is purrrfect! Of course he usually plays the bad boy, but he is so hawt I can't resist ^^. Seungri, bandmate of T.O.P. also starred in this movie. He played the nerdy boy- complete with the nerdy print vests and all..and he also acted quite well. The movie was fast paced, full of twists, well thought out, and just flat out awesome. I recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries...and "Big Bang". Kung Fu Panda 2 was also a great movie. I makes absolutely no sense if you haven't watched the first Kung Fu Panda, so make sure you do that first. I can also see why so many people liked Despicable Me. Those minions are adorablee and Agnes is sooo cute you can die. IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIEEEEE....Quoting the most famous line in the entire movie XD. And finally Tangled. I really really liked the twist they added to the traditional story of Rapunzel. The animation was great and 3-D! And the "prince charming"? Totally hawt. ;D For an animation character, that's saying somethin'. hahaha. Well, I guess that's all for now. But don't worry! There's sure to be more to come.
Hey guys! I'm at school in Biology and we finished early, so I'm just bored...yeah anyway, spring break just ended not too long ago BOOHOO :'( so during the break, I watched a Taiwanese drama called Autumn's Concerto I'll probably summarize it episode by episode if I'm bored enough later XD anyway, it was SUCH a good drama and I loved it Ren Guang Xi (Vanness Wu) is now officially my most favorite Taiwanese celebrity now :D hawtness! <3 lol and also another male character Hua Tuo Ye (Chris Wu) is pretty hawt and awesome too :D lol I just think it's funny that both of them have the last name Wu XDDD hahaha if u haven't seen this drama, I DEFINITELY recommend it! The actors are great, the storyline is enticing, and you'll go through so many waves of emotions. Sometimes it really pulls your heartstrings to the point where you're hysterical with sadness or happiness. Sooooo go watch it! And don't forget to check out the bloopers! Love ya :) Claire <3
