So here's my two cents on this group before I get to the profiles.

Skip it if you don't really care. 

Anyway, buzz is that SM is debuting a 4-member girl group called "Red Velvet" on August 1, 2014 - "coincidentally" on the same day as YG's "WINNER". Now I say that lightly, as it really could be a coincidence...but heh I see you there SM. Yeah with a golden plaque around your neck that says "MUST BE CENTER OF ATTENTION". I see you. I kid, I kid. SM is cool. Just...maybe..not the best at timing. Like..ever. I know 3 of the members have been on SMRookies, but this group seriously came out of nowhere - like GOT7's Jackson when he hears the words "Wild & Sexy".
But anyway, the real "hot topic" is whether or not Red Velvet is replacing f(x). Being an f(x) fan myself, I can see how some people think that way. I too wish that SM would establish an official fanclub, let f(x) hold their own solo concert, and continue with the "Red Light" promotions.But c'mon people all we've seen are some teasers. We don't know much yet and I think we can all agree that SM has had a bad year. Most international fans probably don't know/care, but their stocks have plummeted. Maybe this is their way of "moving on"? I have no idea. But honestly, these girls are getting tons of hate THEY don't deserve. Did they have a say in anything f(x) related? Most likely not. It's NOT their fault. At the very least wait until after they've debuted? If you're going to blame someone, go to the people at SM who are in charge of scheduling or whatever. Seriously...TIMING SM..TIMING. Y'all need to work on that. T^T
